He is survived by his daughter Harriette Chavez and husband Frank; son Mark Hainey and wife Linda; grandchildren Diana Gifford and husband Blake, Brady Chavez and daughter Summer, Kirk Krattiger and wife Kristie, Melissa Embry and husband Joshua, Mark Andrew Hainey, Tim Hainey, Joshua Hainey, and Lisa Marie Hainey; great grandchildren Manny, Madelyn, Kelcy, Haley, Macie, Kristian, Noah, and Shelby; sister Marie Kinman.
