Mends, Frank born on March 8, 1940 in Cape Coast, Ghana and passed away on October 12, 2015 in Plano, TX. Frank is survived by wife, Elizabeth Mends; daughter, Francine I. Mends, M.D.; son, Fred E. Mends and wife, Erica Wells; sister, Maureen Haizel and husband, Victor; sister-in-law, Eva Bondzie; sister, Georgina McCarthy; nephew, Nathan Aferi; grandson, Rashad Mends and numerous other relatives. Family will receive family and friends on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 2:00PM – 8:00PM at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 2:30 PM in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
