I knew Frank when I was young kid. I used to come over an play with Robert all the time. Frank, Robert, and I would have wrestling matches and do all the things that young kids used to do. With Frank being older, we all looked up to him. He talked about joining the Navy. I enjoyed listening to him talk about it. I lost touch with the Murphy family when I moved away. I am saddened to hear of his passing.
Frank, I will always remember your visit to New York where we all climbed to the top of the Statue of Liberty. It was a fun day for all of us. The day was perfect, sunshine and warm, one of those perfect summer days in NYC that happen all too infrequently. And to think that we climbed to the top, that will not happen again for a long time. Its a shame we didn't have more of them.
