Frank Curry Snowdon's Obituary
SNOWDON, FRANK CURRY born July 26, 1940 in Dallas, Texas, Curry passed away on July 10, 2013 in Dallas, Texas from complications of a heart attack. Curry lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger. He is survived by the love of his life of 36 years, his wife, Betty. Curry was smart, funny, kind, strong and loyal. It was a no-brainer to love Curry. Curry also was “Daddy” to Gizmo, a 6-ounce parrot. He is preceded in death by his mother, the late Dorothy Nesbitt Snowdown and his father, the late Frank Snowdon. He is a graduate of Hillcrest High School and Southern Methodist University. He began his real estate career as Henry S. Miller’s personal assistant. Thereafter, he formed his own real estate company. Curry loved playing tennis and enjoyed the friendships formed when he was a member of Bent Tree Country Club. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at 2:30 PM at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gabriel Foundation, a nonprofit organization for abandoned pet parrots: The Gabriel Foundation, 1025 Acoma Street, Denver, CO 80204. Curry is now held in the hands of God, and all is well in God’s hands.
