Frankie Janece Trimble Hudson's Obituary
Frankie Janece Trimble Hudson was born October 13, 1922 and lived a full century plus a few precious months of blessings and love until she went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, January 26, 2023. A remarkably strong and determined individual, she touched hearts of all ages everywhere she went.
Frankie’s parents were peanut farmers outside Proctor, Texas, where she was born and raised, the eighth of nine children in a loving blended family. Frankie played basketball both as a high school student and as a young adult for the Dallas Hornets. She graduated from Proctor High School in 1940, then attended Dallas’ Draughon’s Business College. Her first career was at Dallas’ Geochemical Survey for 17 years, during which time she purchased a home as a single 28-year-old, then invited her retired parents to live with her. Pearl and Wallace Trimble would live there the rest of their lives. In 1955, she met and married the love of her life, Robert K. Hudson. They were married for 26 years, until his death in January 1982. Frankie lived 41 years as a widow. Frankie’s second career came after daughters Pam and Susan started school, when she became a real estate agent, then a broker. She truly loved her 25 years of both residential and commercial real estate, retiring from Yancey-Camp Construction and Development Company. Her last professional office in the 1980’s was located on Reeder Road, on the very land that she had originally purchased as a first-time solo home buyer in 1950, then rural Dallas County. After retirement, Frankie enjoyed golf until her late 80’s, after which she learned and played bridge until the end of her life. Both gave her a rich variety of deep friendships that remained until her death. Frankie and Bob were charter members of Royal Haven Baptist Church in 1958, and Frankie was devoted to Bible study, worship, and many close friendships through Royal Haven in the 64 years since. She was the last surviving charter member. Frankie loved the Lord with all her heart, and she cared deeply about other people. Frankie loved sports her entire life, watching countless Dallas Cowboys and WNBA Dallas Wings games, as well as many collegiate football and women’s basketball teams. She taught her grandkids to dribble a basketball, swing a golf club, play fair, and listen to every person with loving concern. She was their favorite playmate and storyteller. Frankie is survived by her two daughters, Pamela Morrison and Susan Seidel, along with devoted sons-in-law, Ray Morrison, D.O. and Scott Seidel. She is also survived by beloved grandchildren who called her “Gugu:” Hudson Seidel, M.D. and wife Brittany; Worth Morrison; Peyton Leigh Seidel Prather and husband Taylor; Paul Morrison, Ph.D. and wife Sarah; Reed Seidel; Robert Tate Morrison and wife Sarah; plus three precious great-grandchildren Maverick Morrison, Evangeline Frankie Morrison, and Emma Seidel. Frankie received remarkable care during her life from her physicians, amazing caregivers and staff at Faith Presbyterian Hospice, where she was a resident for 88 days. The family wishes to thank the many dear family and friends who have enriched her life. Your love and kindness have been an extraordinary blessing during this time and we are deeply grateful. A private family graveside service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, 2:00 pm at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, 75243.

The T. Boone Pickens Center/Faith Presbyterian Hospice Chapel
