Franklin Lindberg Crowder Jr.'s Obituary
Franklin Lindberg Crowder, age 90, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2018, at The Traditions in Dallas, Texas. He was born February 2, 1928, to Franklin Lafayette Crowder, Jr., and Ella Kelley Crowder in Indian Creek, Texas, Brown County. He was a graduate of Texas A&M, Class of 1948. He served as County Agent of Fisher County, where he met and married Marion Louise Nail on September 12, 1953, in Roby, Texas. He worked at Lincoln National Life Insurance for many years until he opened his own insurance agency that he ran until he retired. He was a proud member of the Walnut Hill Church of Christ, where he served as an elder for many years. He loved Aggie football, reading Tom Clancy books, doing crossword puzzles, traveling and spending his time with family and friends. He was a doting husband, father and a loyal friend to many.Frank is survived by son Kevin Crowder and wife Karen, daughter Kelly Crowder Craig and husband Don; four grandchildren, Justin Wallace, Jonathan Crowder and wife Diana, Shelby Ellis and Zachary Craig; great-grandson Landon Wallace; sisters-in-law Bonnie Martin and husband Coy, and Glenda Henderson, along with many loving nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marion, his siblings Trumon, Lettie Crowder Holder, Iberia, and Numa.The family will receive guests on Friday, October 19th, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at 2 p.m., at Walnut Hill Church of Christ, located at 10550 Marsh Lane, Dallas, Texas 75229. Reception immediately following
