Fred Clark's Obituary
Frederick Clark of Wylie, Texas was born on December 25, 1955, in Braddock, Pennsylvania and made Texas his home in 1983. He was married to his best friend, Lynn Clark, for 44 wonderful years. He was loved by his son and daughter-in-law, Freddy and Cheryl Clark (Keller, TX) and his precious granddaughter, Carly. Fred was preceded in death by his mother Mildred Piotrowski. Fred was the youngest of 4 children. He is survived by brother; Robert (Jean) Clark of North Versailles, PA, sisters; Marilyn Caskey, Garland, TX, Paula (Brian) Lurvey, Monroeville, PA, beloved Aunt; Mary Lou Nagy, Garland Texas, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was a member of St. Anthony’s Parish, Wylie, TX.
Fred was a professional truck driver, a jack of all trades and master of none. He loved spending time at the deer lease with his uncles and buddies. Nothing brought him more happiness than being around family and friends. After work, you could find Fred in his garage “socializing” with his “alley neighbors”. Fred was kind-hearted, a gentle giant, and watched out for everyone he loved. If you were working on a house project, he was the first to offer his help. Everyone who knew Fred knew he did not like broccoli but loved a thick T-bone steak and Blue Bell ice cream. Fred fought cancer as hard as he could for 4+ years and received the best care possible. One year ago, he was fortunate to qualify for a new research immunotherapy treatment called CAR-T. This gave him one more chance at a longer life. For 365 days, he survived with a sense of humor and stubbornness – but that was him.
Now that he is in heaven and no longer suffering, he will be busy working on projects, socializing with new and old friends, teasing the people he loves as he watches over his loved ones.
We love you and will miss you until we meet again.
Love you bunches!
