Fred Richard Grisak's Obituary
GRISAK, FRED (FRITZ) RICHARD was born March 10, 1925 in Piene, Germany. He passed away on March 20, 2010 after a brief illness. Fritz and his parents immigrated to America when he was five and resided in Dayton, Ohio. He married his life-long love, Pat Crtichlow, on March 20, 1946. They moved to Texas where they raised their three children. Fritz loved his wife, his children, his 5 grandsons, his daughter-in-law, his sons-in-law, his 3 great-grandchildren, poetry, the piano, Animal Planet, the History Channel, his life-long friends, his dog, computers, Kuby hot dogs, nature, his coffee groups, poetry, Whataburger, root beer (no ice), Friday lunch at Luby’s with his son, his TV remote, computer room, his newly acquired sense of humor, Dell’s hamburgers, his solitude as well as his socializing, constant learning, being an American citizen, and saluting strangers, among many other things. He was a devoted husband and a loving father. In his own words, his life was WUNDERBAR! He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. The family will hold a private service for Fritz.
