Fred paul Rudsenske Jr.'s Obituary
Fred Paul Rudsenske Jr., born January 5, 1945, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, in the Austin area, surrounded by the love of his family after visits from all three of his sons.
Fred was born to Fred Paul Rudsenske Sr. and Mildred McVey, both of whom preceded him in death, along with his brother, Mack Rudsenske. He spent his early years in Harlingen, Texas, where he developed the outgoing personality and strong character that would define his life.
A proud graduate of Baylor University, Fred went on to serve his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he built a successful career as a businessman and lifelong salesman in Dallas, Texas, where he became known not only for his work ethic but for his genuine warmth and ability to connect with people.
Fred is survived by his three sons: Clayton Wade Rudsenske, Wesley Kyle Rudsenske, and Blake Miles Rudsenske. He shared his children with Karen Brown, to whom he was previously married. He is also survived by his grandchildren—Logan, Miles, and Caitlin—children of Wesley and his wife, Erin. Being a grandfather was something Fred took immense pride in and was a very meaningful part of his life.
Fred will be remembered for his friendly nature, his unmistakable loud laugh, and the positive impression he left on everyone he met. He had a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys—whether skiing, riding horses, or, in his later years, enjoying country western dancing.
His presence, humor, and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
