Born October 16, 1931 in McKinney, Texas and passed away December 18, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by husband, Everett Hawkins; father, Lon Stapp; mother, Hattie Stapp; brothers, Richard Stapp, Leonard Stapp; and sister, Frances Martin. Survived by daughter, Carolyn Hawkins; son, Michael Hawkins and wife, Judy; and grandson, Chris Hawkins and wife, Rachel. Service will take place at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Restland Abbey Chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
