Frederic Henry Butters' Obituary
Frederic Henry Butters, 85, of Mesquite, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. He was born on December 25, 1934 in Charleston, South Carolina. He served in the Army, in Germany, where he met his wife. They ultimately moved to Texas after he completed his service, and raised their 5 children. He loved golf, and would find any excuse to play. He won trophies and awards playing in golf tournaments. He was always making his kids laugh when they were young, and he was a very loving grandfather. He will be missed dearly.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Regine (Gabler)Butters. He is survived by his children Rolf Butters and wife Jan, Michael Butters and wife Diana, Eric Butters and wife Magda, Stephanie (Butters) Eaves, and U. Cecilia Butters, and his grandchildren, James Rolf Butters, Ashley (Butters) Mullins, Brandon Butters, Christian Bellinger, Emma Eaves, Lori Eaves, Anna Lopez, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2020 at Restland Cemetery.
