Frederick B. Jester's Obituary
JESTER, FREDERICK B. Fred was born in Valparaiso, IN and shortly thereafter moved to Dallas, TX. He attended Bryan High School and graduated from The Culver Military Academy in Culver, IN. Afterward, he enrolled at Cornell University and later transferred to Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduation, he formed the Jester Insurance Agency which he owned and operated for almost 50 years. He was a member of the Preston Hollow Methodist Church, various Insurance Organizations, Theta Delta Chi Fraternity, Northwood Country Club and Little Sandy Hunting and Fishing Club. He had a true passion for Bass Fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Flora Wagner Jester; his sisters, Louise Green and Katherine Maxfield. He is survived by his sister, Marjorie Jester Milby of Houston, TX; daughters, Gail Randal and husband, Lyndal of Quitman, TX, Flora Wilson and husband, Maxie of Tyler, TX; sons, Gibson Jester and wife, Janet of Arlington, TX and Frank Jester of Melissa, TX; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, numerous other relative and friends. A memorial service will be held at 1:30PM, Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Presbyterian Village North Auditorium in Dallas, TX. Donations may be made to one’s Charity of Choice or to Presbyterian Village North Foundation.
