FREDERICK MEREDITH JONES, JR. was born on April 10, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away October 13, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. Fred was fondly known ‘Butch’ by his many of his family members and friends. He is survived by his wife, Karen Jones; son James Jones; his grandchildren Saylor Jones and Jett Jones; mother, Dollie Bond and sisters, Alda Black, and Mabel Miller. Butch is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Meredith Jones, Sr., brother James Jones and sister Freda Young. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Restland Memorial Park.
