Freida Ann Johnson's Obituary
On Monday May 13, 2024, Freida Ann Johnson [Reaves] completed her journey to heaven. She was met by her beloved daughter Kim, her parents [Mary and Fred Reaves], in-laws [Ellen and Ted Johnson], brother-in-law [Jack Lewis] and many other angels.
Freida, who was raised in Greenville, TN moved to Miami, FL to start her adult life. Right after she moved there, she met and fell in love with a Navy Submariner under a palm tree at a party in Miami, FL. During their 60 plus years of marriage, she and her loving husband Robert (Bob) Johnson created a full life and family; Jeffery Lawrence, Kimberly Ann, and Teri Ann [Robert Yarbrough] who are extremely cherished and loved. Freida is also survived by her spit-fire and precious red-haired granddaughter Abigail Yarbrough, her dear sister Barbara Lewis [Reaves], whom she loved greatly, her sister and brother-in-law [Mary and James Barrett] who she enjoyed fun times with, as well as nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Freida lived through hardships such as the premature death of a child and cancer, but she also lived life with a smile on her face while humming a tune; did you ever figure out that tune mom? She loved to play cards and laugh and there wasn’t anyone she didn’t meet who she wouldn’t start talking to and share stories with and she had some great stories to tell. She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and wonderful individuals who knew and loved her throughout her lifetime.
