Ramos, Frotoso (Fred) Our beloved Husband, Daddy, Dad, and Pop, Fred Ramos, finished the race and went to see his Savior to receive his crown on Monday, May 19, 2014. He was born January 21, 1929 in Quitaque, Texas to Rita and Bacilio Ramos. Fred is preceded in death by parents, Rita Rodriguez and Bacilio Molina Ramos; son, Frotoso Fred Ramos; sisters, Petra Galvan, Felis Leija, and Francis Moreno; and brother, Pete Ramos. Fred is survived by wife, Esther Ramos of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Irene and Rev. J.A. Beltran of Farmers Branch; son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Chrys Ramos of Garland; sister, Margarita Mata of Abilene; sister, Eusebia Martinez of Lubbock; granddaughter, Maresa and Brandon Bailey of Rockwall; granddaughter, Vanessa Odell and Ryan Odell of Wylie; grandson, Erik Beltran and Nohemi Beltran of Farmers Branch; great grandchildren, Erik, Scarlette, Kaitlynn, and Joe Angel; sister-in-law, Maria Ramos, many nieces and nephews and one special niece and caregiver, Joann Leija. Fred met the love of his life, Esther Davila in Crowell, Texas at a church conference, and they were childhood sweethearts. They were married on February 18, 1950 in Munday, Texas and celebrated 64 years of blessings. Their blessings included children, Irene in 1953 and Fred in 1956. They moved their family to Dallas in 1966. The joys of his life were his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a carpenter and worked in construction all his life into his 80’s. He was a founding member of and senior deacon at Templo El Redentor in Dallas, Texas. He built many churches across Oklahoma and Texas and has gone to heaven to help build our mansions. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 22, 2014 at Templo El Redentor, 2408 Gilford Street Dallas, Texas 75235 with Internment following at Restland. Services will be officiated by son-in-law, Rev. J.A. Beltran and nephew, Rev. Ezequiel Leija.
