G. W. Robinson's Obituary
G. W. Robinson was born at home in Winchester, Tennessee, on February 28, 1925. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lula Ethel, his father, George William, and his sisters, Ruby Solomon and Chris Simpson. He is survived by his devoted wife, Claudine, with whom he shared 77 beautiful years of marriage.
He is also survived by his daughter, Sandra Stearns; his son, Don Robinson; and two grandchildren, Heather Hisler (and her husband, Austin Hisler) and Tyler Stearns. He cherished his grandchildren more than anything—but his pride and joy came with the arrival of his great-grandchild, Ford Major Hisler.
G. W. spent much of his career as a salesman with Monroe Auto Company. He was also a proud U.S. Air Force veteran who served during World War II. After retirement, he returned to his roots, spending his days ranching, raising cattle, and working on the farm—things he truly loved.
G.W. lived a remarkable 100 years and is now reunited in heaven with those who went before him. He will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
