Gail Henderson Cummings' Obituary
CUMMINGS, GAIL HENDERSON born Oct 16, 1930 in Manhattan, New York, passed away December 12, 2013 at Silverado Senior Living in Irving after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer’s disease and a blessedly shorter bout with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruth Curry; sister, Carol Curry, and husband, David Cummings. Gail was a graduate of Kalamazoo College and in midlife earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. She enjoyed her career as a social worker at Baylor Hospital Dallas and Timberlawn. She is survived by her children, Ruth Ann Glover and husband, Bill; Jeff Cummings and wife, Jackie; Jack Cummings and wife, Tracey. A memorial service will be held at Restland Memorial Chapel on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 12:00 noon.
