Gail Joyce's Obituary
Gail Joyce Farris, 84, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025 in Garland, Texas. She was born to Cornelius and Blanche Farris Missouri in 1941. Gail led a very fulfilling life.
Gail was an accomplished VP of Human Resources, having earned her Bachelor's degree. Her greatest joy was helping her employees succeed. When she wasn’t the human resource VP, Gail loved music. After her retirement, Gail dedicated her life to music and opened her very own shop called Memories records.
Gail was preceded in death by her father, Cornelius ; mother, Blanche; her brothers , Cornelius, George, and Isaac ; and her sisters , Mary, Martha, and Ophelia.
Gail is survived by her daughter, Germaine Brown; grandchildren , Jocelyn, Francesca and James Brown IV; 3 great-grandchildren Jeremiah, Anastasia, James “JT” Brown V and her beloved nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 10 AM. Located at Restland :13005 Greenville Avenue Dallas, Texas, 75243(469) 925-1436
