I have tried many times over the past few years to locate Gail. We were in college together our freshman year at TWU. And, exchanged birthday cards and Christmas cards every year. When they stopped and I received back the card to her a few years ago, I assumed she had moved to a nursing home from the assisted living – or that she had died. I wish I had found this back then, so I could let her sons know how very special she was to me. We seldom visited each other but had stayed in touch. When she left college and stayed with her grandmother in Santa Monica, CA, I went out there (1961) to visit her. I remember she told me how she loved horses and had one (or at least access to one) back in high school – in Oak Cliff. Claudia Cone Johnson
