I am saddened to hear of her passing. What a great lagacy to leave. Although I did not know Garldean, she and my father were own cousins and we had always wondered about Uncle Garl's family and the obituary filled in a lot of gaps in the family tree. Sorry I could not make it to either of the services to meet some of you. But, be assured, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of great sadness.
John Latham and all your family: Prayers of comfort for you and yours during this time. Always know we love your family.
Karen, Garl, and John, I hope and pray that God blesses you through this time in unexpected ways. Grace and peace, Jim
I didn't know Garldean in person, but if her daughter Karen is proof of her goodness on earth, then she was exemplary indeed. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with her, and her children Karen, Garl, and John, and all her extended family. My husband Geoff and I send our deepest condolences, and we'll especially be thinking of you all on Tuesday. Love, Cathy
John, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Loved working side by side with your mom at Dallas Christian. What a beautiful Christian lady and role model for so many people! Ernestine
Glad we got to see you guys this evening. Sorry it was a sad occasion. Let us know if you need anything, and keep in touch. Looks like you had a lot of guests to see tonight.
Dear Karen, Garl, and John, I just heard about your mother's passing this evening from Angela Harris Tooley. Ironically, I just thought about her in the past few months and wondered how she was doing. She was always such a gracious, kind, Christian lady. Everything she did was always done to perfection! She loved all of you so very much and was such a "fixture" at Dallas Christian! I know that you will miss her dearly, but she left a wonderful legacy in each of you. Love, Tamara and Dan Reese
John: I too have some incredible memories of your sweet mother . . . so sorry I am unable to attend her service. What a wonderful story of a Christian life. As much as you'll miss her, you can be fulfilled by the knowledge that she has attained 'the Prize!' Our thoughts and prayers are with you . . . and Garl and Karen. Pam
What a lovely picture of your Mom! Thank you for allowing all of us to know and care for her. She is missed. All my thoughts and prayers to you.
