Garnetta Alexander Weber's Obituary
Garnetta Alexander Weber (age 91) of Dallas, Texas passed into the loving arms of the Lord on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
Garnetta was born and raised in LaFollette, Tennessee. She specialized in serving children through children’s theater. Education was everything to Garnetta. She believed strongly in providing educational opportunities to her son and daughter.
Garnetta attended Maryville College located near Knoxville, Tennessee and then for her final two years of higher education attended and graduated from The University of Tennessee.
Garnette was an avid reader and committed her life toward the education of others especially through children’s theater.
Garnetta married Charles E. Weber, Jr. on August 4, 1955. She is survived by her two children, Alexandys Weber and Hans Weber. Hans is married to Wendy Jones Weber. Garnetta is also survived by two grandchildren, Kirsten and McClain. Garnetta was dedicated to her grandchildren and spent countless hours teaching them and providing them with a loving family.
Garnetta is survived by her sisters Lynne Dower of Denton,Texas and Barbara Alexander of Bedford, Texas. She is also survived by her nephew Bill A. Dower and his wife Karen of Denton. Texas.
Garnetta was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Weber, Jr. Charles passed on September 22, 2024. She was also preceded in death by her parents Robert and Pearl Alexander.
The Weber family and all surviving family wish to express their sincere appreciation to all of the caregivers at Royal Gardens, Dallas and Three Oaks Hospice, located in Dallas.
The memorial will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, December 15, 2025 at the Chapel at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church located on Preston Road in Dallas and LaFollette Methodist Church located on 801 E. Central Avenue, LaFollette, Tennessee 37766.
