Gary Alan Chizek
Gary Alan Chizek was born in Chicago, Illinois on July
12, 1959 to Lewis Nelson Chizek and Adele Jenkins
Chizek. He passed away in Athens, Texas on August 8,
2023.
Gary was a kind and gentle soul. He loved fishing and
enjoyed many trips to the Texas coast and Texas lakes.
He was raised in the Lutheran church and carried his faith
with him during his lifetime. His hobby was collecting
and wearing cross necklaces.
Gary is preceded in death by his father Lewis Nelson
Chizek and by his mother Adele Jenkins Chizek.
Gary is survived by his brother Lewis Nelson Chizek II
and his sisters Sharon Swanson and Deborah McKenzie
