I was 3 years old aunt Valerie and uncle Gary got married. I remember it as clear as day. When I was 7 years old I went to my cousin Tracy's birthday party and when I got home Valerie and Gary gave me a box ( it was also my birthday) and when I took the box lid off there was the cutest little bleach puppy I had ever seen. I named him peep la pew. At age 11 little peep got into grandpa's she'd and got hung up.in a fishing hook and Gary left the job he was on and came to the rescue. And I remember when he surprised Valerie with her Grand Marque. All thru life Gary has been the most loving and generous man. He has been a teacher to most everyone he has come onto contact with, but most.of all he has always been the very best uncle anyone could ever hope to have. I will always take with me the stories of his life and lessons that he shared. I love you uncle Gary with all my heart. You will live on in the hearts and minds of so many.
I remember the first time I met Gary. Jim and I went to Carrollton and we 4 went to eat dinner. Jim and I were in the back seat of the car. Gary was driving and turning around to talk to Jim as we were going down the highway. The car would go over the lines and rumble. It was a wild ride to dinner but I knew then he was a wonderful brother-in-law. Gary had an infectious laugh and he was a kind and loving person. I will miss him.

Uncle Gary was probably the most like grandpa. He loved to talk and tell stories. In the last few years, I remember his favorite stories being about his world war II fighter plane game with friends from all over the world and end times. But the biggest similarity was how he always told the present niece that we were his favorite. I remember once when he was evaluating an HVAC system for my client and Valerie called. I was only hearing his side… He told her he was talking with his favorite niece. Then he said a little louder and a little frustrated, NO! not Vicki, Tracy! I laughed so hard… He seemed to always be smiling and laughing. That's how I'm remembering him. Tracy Lewis (Gary's favorite niece) ??
Gary and I had many good times together from his bleeding forehead when we went for a motorcycle ride to Chiefs/Cowboys football games. My family and I will miss him. I will always remember the first time I met Gary. We were going out to eat, Valerie and I were in the backseat of the car, Gary was driving. Gary would turn around to talk to Valerie and I and the car would go over the white line and the car would rumble. Wildest ride I ever had. We will miss Gary very much. He was the best brother-in-law ever Mona, Jim and Aaron
I've only had the pleasure of knowing Gary for a year but I can say that he is one of the nicest men I have ever met. Every time Gary would come into the office he was always smiling, telling jokes and stories from racing to HVAC. I can also say that he is one of the smartest HVAC men I have ever known. It always amazed me how he could meet someone and never forget their name. Gary, you are such a terrific man and you have no idea how much you will be missed, not just from family but friends and the community. Rest well sweet man. Dorothy Levosky
