Gary Lynn Dalrymple's Obituary
Gary Lynn Dalrymple, of Providence Village, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. He was born in Lafayette, Indiana, to Don and Mary Dalrymple. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Don, and is survived by his mother, Mary; his daughters, Danielle Call and her husband, Richard, and Desiree Schmidt; his brothers, Robert Dalrymple and his wife, Mylinda, and Scott Dalrymple and his wife, Denise; nephews, Matt (Hailey), Chris (Kelsey), and Chisholm; nieces, Katy (Stephan), Bryn, and Killion; as well as two beloved grandnieces and a grandnephew.
From a young age, Gary showed a true passion for athletics. He excelled at baseball, pitching his Marsh Jr. High team to a city championship and helping Richland College secure its first-ever championship win. He played football at Marsh Jr. High School and W.T. White High School. He shared his love of music by playing baritone in both the concert and marching bands at Marsh Jr. High.
Gary went on to earn an International Business degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. He began his career with Eastman Kodak Company and later found fulfillment in running his own Pepperidge Farm delivery route, from which he eventually retired.
Beyond work, Gary enjoyed watching and talking sports, playing golf, attending concerts, traveling, playing guitar, attending car races and auto shows and especially working on his own cars.
Gary will be remembered for his kind heart and his love of children, animals, and family.
