Gary Lee Martin's Obituary
MARTIN, GARY LEE Gary was born on July 24, 1948 and remained in Dallas until his death at home from complications of heart surgery on April 5, 2007. He was a prominent General Contractor who was an unusual and talented man, gourmet chef, had a very big heart, and loved his “Buddies”. Preceded in death by his beloved son, Jed Martin. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cindy; his precious daughter, Jennifer and husband James Squires of Dallas; 2 adored grandchildren, Hannah and Tyler; his mother and father, J.C. and Mary Martin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Sue Martin, Barry and Terri Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday, April 9, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Interment Restland Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
