Gary Kent Nevins' Obituary
Gary Kent Nevins, 76, left this earth on January 28, 2017. Gary was born on November 6, 1940, in Fort Worth, Texas. Gary has been a successful second generation concessionaire at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas since 1949. His loving family includes; wife, Sallyann; two daughters, Traci Demecs and Tami Jo Mayes; son-in-laws, Steven Demecs and Richard Mayes, and three grand daughters, Anna Grace Demecs, Cheyne Mayes and Josey Mayes. Gary is also survived by his sisters, Beverly Self and Janice Mason, her husband, George, and brother, Jim B. Conatser, and his wife Jimann Conatser. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Friday, February 3, 2017, at Restland Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 04, 2017 at Memorial Chapel- Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243. Gary was a wonderful husband, a great Dad, and brother and a loving DaDa.
