Cathy…Debra and I are so sorry for your loss. I will never forget that you and Gary supported me as a candidate for Mayor and then since keeping me "grounded" to be a good Mayor. I will miss Gary but will not forget his wise counsel. Thank you for allowing me to express my feelings and my appreciation of you both.
Dearest Cathy, We are so deeply sorry for your loss. May God comfort you during this extraordinarily difficult time. Please know that our prayers are with you and your family. With love and deepest sympathy, Emy and Ed
Gary, what I'll miss most… Waking each morning knowing you were there by my side. Looking into those beautiful brown eyes as if it were the very first time. Ending each day with a kiss saying "I love you, sweet dreams, and see you in the morning." Our love meant we were always there for one another through thick or thin. I was so looking forward in growing old together; to anticipate falling in love over and over again. Oh, how I'll miss that fabulous, mischievous smile and the warmth and strength of your arms around me. I'll love you always, Gary Dean, and thank you for our journey together. I know when God calls me, we'll be together again. All my love, Cathy
Kathy, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you today and always. I'll miss Gary, I will always remember the auction he did for our family that year, and the fun we had. He's with Bonnie, Mama, our Mother and all his family who have gone on before us now. Guess he's visiting with Judy and Vicki, making Judy laugh!!! Take care of yourself and stay strong.tropes
Gary and I were the most unlikely of friends. Me a city boy from California, he a country boy red neck from Frederick, Oklahoma. Somehow, we tolerated each other's differences and enjoyed each other's company very much for almost 20 years. Gary had an uncanny ability to make friends with all people, rich and poor, educated or un-schooled. It didn't matter. He gave everyone the benefit of the doubt. He would respect your values and beliefs even if he didn't agree with them as long as you too respected his. We need more people like him on this earth. I will miss Gary a lot.
I've worked with Gary and Cathy in the auction business for about eight years now. When I first met Gary, I was a naive farm kid that just moved to the "big city." He took me under his wing and gave a self confidence that I will forever be grateful. Cathy we love you and I'll never forget that "Okie from the poor side of the lake"
Cathy, im so sorry. Gary was a great person. I will never forget the great auctions you two put on. I will miss him. Much love, Jayner
Gary helped me in two school auctions that I chaired. What a wonderful man! Sweet, open, friendly, and could work a room like nobody. You could tell how much he loved his wife Cathy. They were fantastic together. He will be missed.
Edie and I send our condolences to Cathy and the family. I only wish we could have been there for the Memorial. My wife was in a terrible car accident among other health problems including health problems of my own so I was not aware that Gary was that ill. Gary and I always kidded around a lot over the years but He and Cathy were always there during our family losses not to mention other cousins that have passed away. I can see his face right now and I know that God has a special place for him in Heaven. Randy & Edie Talley
