Gary Michael "Mike" Reed's Obituary
Gary Michael "Mike" Reed, 68, passed away June 12, 2020 in Farmers Branch, TX. He was born June 18, 1951 to parents William and Neva Reed. He served in the Air Force stationed at Hickam AFB on Oahu, Hawaii during the Vietnam War. His only child Stacy Ann was born in Hawaii.
Mike’s passion was music and he was an accomplished guitar player with many musician friends. Later in life he enjoyed working with wood.
Preceded in death by his father William “Bill’ Reed, Jr and brother-in-law David Boyd.
Survived by his daughter Stacy Reed Payton of Burbank CA, grandchildren Karter and Maya; mother Neva Reed Holland and sister Suzy Boyd of Sanger, TX; brother Jimmy Reed (Julie) of Forney TX, their children Lauren & Hunter; nephew Josh Reed of Calumet OK, his sons Wade & Wyatt; nephew Aaron Boyd (Desirae) of Sanger TX & their son Jaxon.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later time.
