Gearldine "Jerry" Taylor's Obituary
Gearldine “Jerry” Taylor, age 75, went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2013. Jerry was born October 9, 1933, in Rural Hall, North Carolina to Pauline Norman Peele. Jerry carried her faith in Christ with her through her many joys and trials, and her faith carried her through her final journey. It was always her nature to put the needs of others ahead of her own. Her husband, James L. Taylor, and her mother, Pauline Peele, preceded Jerry in death. Jerry loved her family. Survivors include her two devoted daughters, Sharon Williams and her husband, Mike, of Mesquite, and Teresa Dawes-Anguiano and her husband, Michael, of Richardson, Texas; four adoring grandchildren, Michael J. Williams of Austin, Texas, Jennifer Jordan and her husband, Ryan, of Forney, Texas, Destinee Dawes and her future husband, Chris of Carrollton, Texas, Skyler Dawes of Richardson, Texas and Chris Anguiano of Flower Mound, TX; one precious great-granddaughter, Autumn Jordan of Forney, Texas; and her loving sister, Mary Ruth Flynn of Siloam, North Carolina. She always made time for her hobbies, which included church activities, reading, family time, and listening to music. She loved animals, especially her cats, Trigger, Socks and Max. Jerry had a successful career as a health care provider at several facilities in North Carolina. Her passion was helping others. People she met fell in love with her sweet and caring personality. Heaven has another angel. Visitation will be Friday, January 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Restland Abbey Chapel with services following at 12:00 PM also at Restland Abbey Chapel.
