Geevarughese Jacob's Obituary
Geevarughese Jacob, known by his loved ones as Sabu, was a caring husband, father, brother, and friend. He departed from this world suddenly on August 8, 2021, at the age of 56.
He was born on January 22, 1965, as the second out of four children to parents K.T. Chacko & Annamma Chacko in Kottayam, Kerala. In his early life, he studied at J.M.H. School and later pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at SB College. Following graduation, he immigrated to the US and began working at Texas Instruments where he worked diligently for 25 years till his retirement this past July.
He was a loving and devoted husband to Susan (Beena) Jacob and together they shared 26 happy years together. During their marriage, they raised twins Allan and Ashley together in their home in Garland, Texas. Sabu led a life dictated by Godly principles and instilled the same virtues in his beloved family. Those who knew him best can attest that he was a selfless, compassionate man who put the needs of others well before his own. He was a dedicated family man who enjoyed both music and sports. Among his friends he was known to be lively and vivacious, often bringing the heartiest of smiles to the faces around him.
While he will be missed greatly, we know that his presence will always be with us. Now we make peace in knowing that he can rest with his late mother, father, and eldest brother in God’s abode.
