Geoffrey Cornell Fisher's Obituary
Geoffrey Cornel Fisher was born to Richard C. Fisher and Virgie P. Fisher on September 25,
1954 in Brooklyn, New York. Geoffrey was a faithful member of Sword of the Spirit church,
where he diligently served and led the safety team. He was a devout Christ follower and you
would always hear him quote scripture, pray and worship with his guitar. He also liked to play
games, fellowship, serve with the body of Christ and minister to anyone in need. Geoffrey loved
to crack jokes and his laugh was unforgettable; when he thought something was funny, he
would laugh for days. He adored his grandchildren and was so ready to meet his 9th grandchild
before he suddenly passed. Geoffrey departed from his earthly home to his heavenly home on
Sunday, November 28, 2021.
Geoffrey was preceded in death by his son, Andre Fisher and his father, Richard Fisher.
Geoffrey is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Anjanette and Doug Shaw; his
grandchildren, Miknieah and Jessica Shaw, Monissa Shaw, Michaiah Shaw, Malachi Shaw,
Mekhi Shaw, Maitheus Shaw, Miana Shaw, Milaina Shaw, and Macarius Shaw; his mother,
Virgie Fisher; his siblings, Virgil Fisher and Angela Fisher; his niece, Janee McGee and his
nephew, Justin Fisher.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 31, 2021, in the Memorial Chapel at
Restland of Dallas 13005 Greenville Avenue Dallas, Texas 75243.
