Georgana Fisher's Obituary
Born in Albany, New York, Georgiana was brought to texas as an infant and she remained in texas untill she passed.After attending North Texas University, she met Albert Parke “Pete” Fisher. For six years they lived in New Orleans where Pete was the bureau chief for United Press International. Georgiana worked for the South african Consalate. In 1968 they returned to Dallas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years in 1993, and by her parents Marjorie (2005) and Walter (2004) Eickmeyer. She is survived by her daughter Deborah Weidenkopf and her granddaughter Katherine, she also leaves her most beloved son, Parke Fisher. In 1995 she met her second true love Rick Glenn, who has been her constant companion and her loving guardian through her illness. Visitation on Wed. June 9 from 6-8. Services will be on June 10, 9:30 A.M. in the abbey chapel at Restland funeral home 13005 Greenville Ave. Dallas, Texas 75243. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First United Methodist church Ross at Harwood, Dallas Texas 75201, where Georgiana was a member for more than fifty years.
