George L. Altamero's Obituary
Altamero, George L., was born February 22, 1924 inTuguegarao, Cagayan, Philippines and passed away November 27, 2012 in Carrollton, Texas. He is preceded in death by Emerita, his devoted wife of 59 years. He was a loving father of George (Elma), Gerry (Anna), Geralyn (David) Obar, and Geanine (Rick) Altamero; proud grandfather of 11; dear brother of Esther, Ruth, Tomasa, Jose, Evangeline, and Tomas; fond uncle of many. George was a veteran of WWII, served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years and was an auto mechanic. Visitation and viewing will be at Restland Funeral Home from 4:00-8:30 PM with service at 7:00 PM. In Lieu of flowers a donation to Cosmopolitan United Church of Christ or Umphress Road Methodist Church would be appreciated.
