George Richard Cero's Obituary
George Richard Cero was born on August 17, 1923 in Appleton, Wisconsin to parents George & Marion (Bonen) Cero and passed away on December 21, 2015 at the age of 92 in Grapevine, Texas. George R. Cero grew up in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. He enlisted in the Army with an honorable discharge in1948. He married Marjorie H. Cero in San Antonio, Texas on August 1948. He graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration in 1952. He started his career with Allis Chambers and quickly moved into sales with General Electric (Hotpoint) division. He was actively continuing his education in effective speaking and in 1957 he was certified in Dale Carnegie Courses. He held licenses in Real Estate, Auctioneer’s, and Private Investigator among a few. George R. Cero started a small family Business in 1972 in Grapevine, Texas known as “Cero’s Hero’s” were his wife and family where known for a great sandwich shop at the end of main street in Grapevine,Tx . He was an active member in Toastmaster over the Southwest Region and a retiree from General Electric, in the 1990’s. George R. Cero loved his ability to sell and do public speaking. George was a devoted Catholic. George is preceded in death by both of his parents and his younger brother, Donald Cero. He is survived by his nine children and their spouses: Susie and Jimmy Judd of New Fairview, TX; Gary and Cindy Cero of Noble, OK; Casey and Jeani Cero of Grapevine, TX; Cecilia Wolf & Jeff Koncal of Strongsville, OH; Rosanna & Bruce Scaff of Austin, TX; George and Tami Cero of Bedford, TX; John and Crystal Cero of Euless, TX; Angie Freeman & Orlando Reyes of Hondo, TX; Cassie and Jeff Diles of D’Hanis, TX. George is also survived by his eighteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
