George is preceded in death by his son, Blake Pinson English, and father, John Robert English. After a courageous two year battle with Melanoma cancer, George passed away in his home Friday, May 24, 2013 in McKinney, Texas. Our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend is now resting in the arms of our loving Savior alongside his precious son, Blake. George will be greatly missed by his wonderful family and friends. As a teenager, George moved from Ohio to Richardson, Texas and graduated from Richardson High School; which both of his sons and step children later attended. George maintained friendships with his high school classmates and made many other friends throughout his journey in life. George had an infectious sense of humor that kept us all laughing and even during his illness, he was constantly bringing joy and laughter to nurses, medical staff, and everyone he encountered. George was a loving father to his boys, Blake and Stephen, a loyal son to his mother, Fran, a dedicated husband to the love of his life, best friend, and wife, Beth, and opened his heart as a stepfather to his stepchildren, Megan, Hunter, and Madeline. George had a passion for life and family. He enjoyed many family trips to Beavers Bend, OK where he enjoyed canoeing, fishing, barbequing, and spending time with his family around the campfire. George shared his love of music with his son, Stephen, and the two of them spent many nights listening to music and talking. These were the simple times that George treasured most. He will always be remembered and greatly missed. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
