George Franklin Everett's Obituary
EVERETT, GEORGE FRANKLIN Born November 30, 1928 in Ben Wheeler, TX and passed away July 25, 2012 in Garland, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Maye Everett; 3 brothers and sisters and his son, Alan Everett. George is survived by his wife, Wanda; sons, Steve and wife Connie, Ron and wife Lori; Judy Everett; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. George was a 28 year veteran of the Dallas Police Department and retired as a Detective. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in the Korean War. Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held 10:00 am, Sunday, July 29 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dallas Police Association, Assist the Officer Fund, 1412 Griffin St. E, Dallas, TX 75215.
