Dr. George G. Steele II's Obituary
Dr. George G. Steele II, 67, of Plano, Texas passed away Sunday January 17, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Dr. Steele was born in Dallas, Texas. George was a born again Christian who raised his family to love God. He loved hiking the mountains of Colorado and playing golf. He earned his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of North Texas and later graduated from Baylor Dental College and Orthodontics School at Ohio State University in 1977. Dr. Steele had an orthodontic practice in Plano and Canton, Texas. Dr. Steele is preceded in death by his infant son, Johnathan Edward Steele. Dr. Steele is survived by his wife Kathleen Steele, parents George and Lillie Steele, children; Julie Walker and husband Lance, Emily Frederick and husband Todd, Gavin Steele and wife Shellie, Quentin Steele and wife Lisa, grandchildren; Garrett, Callie, George, Samara, Alex, Avery, Lillie, Maggie, Brynan and Felicity, siblings; Terry Steele and wife Sandy, Marvin Steele and wife Suzetta, Eldon Steele and wife Grace and Linda Willis and husband Glenn, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many loving friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society in Dr. Steele’s name. Funeral Services will be held for Dr. Steele at Restland Funeral Home on Thursday January 21, 2016 at 2:30 P.M. in Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held at Restland Funeral Home on Wednesday January 20, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.. Burial will be at Restland Memorial Cemetery.
