George Robert Hajok's Obituary
George Robert Hajok was born on March 10, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois. He passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023; at the age of 88, at his home in Fairview, Texas.
George is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dale T. Ulizzi Hajok; daughter, Deborah Ann Leclere and her husband, Robert; son, Kenneth John Hajok; daughter, Lisa Marie Nixon; daughter, Jody Lynn Matthews; his grandchildren, Andrew Leclere, Cameron Hajok, Jasmine Matthews, Samantha Marie Nixon, Peyton Hajok, Abbey Hajok, and Avery Hajok; great-grandchildren, Jason Ortiz, Ariana Diaz, and Journee Hajok; George is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Hajok and Bernice Straka (Hajok); his grandparents, John and Regina Skowron; and his son, Blaine Hajok. He is also preceded in death by his uncle, Ted; uncle, Frank and aunt, Janet Lowinski; uncle, Warren and aunt Helen Henricks. He is survived by his aunt, Jean Skowron; uncle, Ed and aunt, Jeanette Skowron and many cousins.
George was a proud Marine and retired from American Airlines in 1995. He will be remembered for loving Sports Illustrated and as a lifelong Notre Dame fan! He was a “Proud Papa” and never gave up the chance to watch his grandchildren play sports. He adored his wife and loved his family until the very end.
