George Christopher Haney's Obituary
HANEY, GEORGE CHRISTOPHER of Dallas, born July 26, 1927 has passed away June 25, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, R. Walter Haney and E. Seron Haney. George is survived by his wife, Katherine Haney; daughter, Janice Haney and husband, Steve Gregory; son, Brook Haney and wife, Susan; grandchildren, Charlie Ptaszek, Anna Haney and Chris Haney. George dedicated his life to his greatest love, Katherine. Above all he loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed his lake house at Cedar Creek Lake and home in Port Aransas. George enjoyed baseball, golf, and taking care of his garden. He was well-respected as a baseball coach and pitching instructor. Service will be held Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 2:30 PM at Restland Memorial Chapel. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Assoc. @ www.alz.org.
