George Oliver Joyce's Obituary
Born June 17, 1921, in Parkville, MO and passed away January 10, 2009, in Farmers Branch, TX. George retired after 40 years of government service having been in the Air Force for 20 years and the Federal Aviation Administration for 20 years. He also was an avid chess player. Survived by his daughter, Dennie Wood and husband Sam; sons, Bill Joyce and wife Rita, John Joyce and wife Gladys; grandchildren, Jennifer, Bill, Bryan, and James Joyce and Sam Wood and wife Lindsay; great grandson, Nicholas Wood; brother Richard Joyce. Graveside service will be held at 2PM, Thursday, January 15, 2009 in Restland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8PM, Wednesday, at Restland Funeral Home.
