George Harold Kellam's Obituary
KELLAM, GEORGE HAROLD born on April 5, 1922 in East Texas and passed away May 3, 2013. Harold started his career in the shoe business while in high school with the Graham Brown Shoe Company. In 1968, Harold and three business associates started the Cahn Shoe Company. Harold is survived by his wife, Dorothy; sons, Dennis Kellam and wife, Mary Ann and Damon Kellam; daughter, Jackie Joyner; grandchildren, Courtney Joyner and wife, Kristin, Rev. Ashleigh Joyner, Drew Kellam, Kaleigh Kellam, Lorin Kellam; great grandchildren, Madison Kellam, Annie Kellam, Zoe Kellam; brother, Jack C. Kellam and wife, Dee Dee; sister, Dorothy Glen Newsom; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM, Sunday, May 4, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday at Walnut Hill United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Walnut Hill United Methodist Church, 10066 Marsh Lane, Dallas, TX 75229 or the American Heart Association.
