George Matthew Kevlin's Obituary
KEVLIN, GEORGE MATTHEW Passed away on February 24, 2012 in Dallas, TX. He was born in New Bedford, MA, January 7, 1929 to James Courtney Kevlin and Claire Souza Kevlin. George graduated from Nichols College and Syracuse University. He did graduate work in business at NYU. During the Korean War he served in the United States Air Force. It was during this service that he discovered his beloved Texas. Always the consummate salesman, George was employed by NCR and LeFebure before starting his own business, Kevlin Services. George was preceded by his parents and his brother, James Courtney Kevlin, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Carolynn; his sons, James Michael and George Patrick Kevlin; grandchildren, Elisabeth and Matthew Kevlin. Mrs. Kevlin wishes to thank the loving caregivers at Signature Pointe on the Lake and Paradigm Health Services as well as Hospice Plus, for making his last month’s happy and comfortable. Further, she expresses her deep appreciation of Dr. Jay M. Jones for his compassionate care during the last fifteen years. Service will be held at 3:30PM, Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
