George Allen Lewis, 84, of Allen, Texas, passed away on November 29, 2024. Born in Dallas, Texas on February 26, 1940, to parents Victor and Janie Lewis. He is survived by his devoted wife, Judy Lewis; children Richard Lewis, Debra (Lewis) Dietz, Christopher Mieras, and Jillian Mieras Martin; as well as his 11 grandchildren, and his older brother Vic Lewis. George was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother Roger Lewis. George's legacy will be cherished for his dedicated service in the US Navy aboard the USS Pine Island, his years as a Mesquite Police officer, and his keen investigative skills as a Private Investigator. His heart was always open to shelter dogs, welcoming them into his home with love. George and Judy shared a passion for dancing, often lighting up the dance floor at local events with their friends. Their joy and rhythm were a testament to their vibrant life together.
