PONDER, GEORGE EDMUND born January 7, 1942 in Brownwood, Texas has passed away June 11, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by his parents, Hamilton Bennett Ponder and Gwendolyn Ruby Ponder. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Monta Ponder; son, Craig Ponder and wife, Temple of Mansfield, Texas; grandsons, Hunter, Grant and Cole Ponder; brother, Ronnie Ponder (Anne) of North Little Rock, Arkansas; brother, Mike Ponder (Paula) of Nashville, Arkansas; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. George retired from Pool Corp after 18 years with the company. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Restland Memorial Chapel. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association.
