I was blessed to have worked with George for many years. He was such a great guy and make my working life so much better. His pearls of wisdom helped me be a better employee and saved me a time or two as well. I haven't seen George for many years but I will still miss him nonetheless.
Alan, Monica, Jack, and James Van Gundy purchased the Treasured Lilies Spray for the family of George Simon.
I worked for George for 10 years beginning in 1982. He had a significant effect on my professional life. He taught me how to treat people and figure out what was the right thing to do and then do it. His philosophy was to ask for forgiveness later, if necessary, than to wait for permission. I used what I learned from him over the next 25 years. He was a great friend and mentor and I will miss him very much.
Carole and I have known George and Carolyn since the early 1980's as part of the LTV family. George and I became good friends and brothers during our time at LTV and since. George was a devoted husband, had a great mind and was very giving to those in need worldwide. Yes, he was stubborn on occasion, but a sincere and compassionate person. We will definitely miss George in body, but not in mind or spirit as he will always be an important part of our life. We love you George. Tom & Carole Tull
