George W Sweet's Obituary
Sweet, George W. Born Sept. 14, 1921 in Rushville, IN; the youngest of nine siblings. He passed away on October 8, 2011. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Opal. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Tomahawk during the last year of WWII. A machine designer for over 50 yrs. He was employed by: Texas Instruments, Recognition Equipment, Mead, Universal Instr., and Excel Corp. He had several patents. He is survived by two sons, David A. of Quinlan, TX and Stephen M. Sweet of Burney, CA; five grandsons; twelve great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
