Georgeann Fenley Owen's Obituary
Owen, Georgeann F. Born Oct 2, 1931 in Dallas Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009. Survived by her husband, Robert Owen, sons, Clay and Blake Davis and grandchildren Jessica, Brianna, Ria, Auriel, Zach and Palmer. A loving Mother and wife, she loved to travel, and was active in the Republican Womens’ Association and the North Dallas Shared Ministries organization. She was particularly proud of her membership in the Chi Omega sorority, beginning at her alma mater, SMU. Her Greek heritage was an important part of her life and values, which she successfully passed along to her heirs. As an active church member, she loved to sing and was a dedicated member of the choir for many years. She will be remembered for her many fine qualities, including her tremendous generosity and grace. Visitation is 6-8pm, Friday, May 15 at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX. Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Saturday, May 16 at Preston Hollow Presbyterian, at Walnut Hill and Preston Roads. Memorials may be made to the Preston Hollow Presbyterian church choir.
