Georgia Belknap's Obituary
Georgia Katsaros Belknap was born October 2nd, 1964 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and was raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She is survived by her mother, Marilyn Austin of the home, her brothers, Keith Austin and Paul Katsaros, and husband Kevin Belknap. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy and Lena Worthington. On July 4th, 2010, a true beacon of light was darkened much too soon as Georgia’s life slipped peacefully away at the age of 45. She was a fun loving, caring person who valued her friends to no end and would do anything to help others. She was always appreciative of what others did for her as well. Also important to her were her dog “Milky Way” and her 14 year old cat, “Mouse”. She had a strong will, and fought many hard battles, but did so with courage and grace. Sorrow and emptiness remains where your presence once was, the only thing that may come close to filling that space will be the precious memories that will always fill our hearts when we reminisce of our beautiful time spent with you.
