Georgia Lavern Brasher's Obituary
Ms Georgia Brasher, age 90, passed away on October 13th, 2022 in Quitman, Tx. She was born to Mr. Basil Newton Lonon and Ms. Esta Fay Stevens in Dallas, Tx. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert (aka RS), daughter, Darla & son, Danny. Georgia and RS had 5 children. Robert, Darla, Anna, Danny, & Billy.
Georgia lived a long life. She grew up in Garland and spoke lovingly of her parents and enjoyed many travels with them as a young girl. Georgia was a loving mother. Her care and concern for her children was her “life’s work”. She knew no bounds when it came to protecting them. Georgia enjoyed listening to country music, playing bingo, & trips to the casino. Notably, she was famous for her chocolate pies!
Georgia is survived by son, Robert Brasher of McKinney, Tx, daughter, Anna Langford of Quitman, Tx. & son, Billy Brasher of Whitesboro, Tx. She enjoyed the privilege of 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, & several great, great, grandchildren.
