Georgia Augusta Tuthill's Obituary
Georgia Tuthill, 106, of Dallas, TX died August 15, 2017 in Dallas, TX. She was born June 7, 1911, to Phinis Sandlin and Katie Sandlin in Matador, TX. She married Robert Tuthill on August 12, 1950 in Dallas, TX. She was trained as a commercial artist and worked as a secretary at a large Dallas Insurance Company in the 1940’s. Georgia is preceded in death by her husband, Robert C Tuthill; parents, Phinis Alpheus and Katie Wells Kanzler Sandlin; and sisters Mae Sandlin Fee and Marguerite Yater. She is survived by Sons, Glenn Robert Tuthill and Larry Wallace Tuthill, both of Dallas; grandchildren, Jacob Matthew Tuthill, Heather Tuthill, and Eric Tuthill; and great-grandchildren, Annabelle Tuthill, Georgia Kate Tuthill, Caiden Tuthill, and Liam Tuthill. Georgia Tuthill, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, has passed after a life of one hundred and six years. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 10 AM in the Abbey Chapel. Graveside service will follow. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
